CSSHL student-athletes Rylan Edwards and Elias Mitrikas have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.
Edwards has signed with the Brandon Wheat Kings after they selected him in the first round, 18th overall at the 2026 WHL Draft. The Regina, SK forward recorded 43 points in 28 U15 Prep games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme this past season.
A netminder from Coquitlam, BC, Mitrikas was selected in the third round, 58th overall by the Edmonton Oil Kings at the 2025 WHL Draft. He joined the CSSHL during the 2023/24 U15 season going 6-6-0 with a 4.80 GAA and .894 SV% in 12 games with the North Shore Warriors. The following U15 Prep season Mitrikas went 3-14-3 with a 3.47 GAA and .926 SV% as he was named a CSSHL U15 Prep (BC/US Division) Second Team All-Star.
This past season Mitrikas would go 5-9-1 with a .911 SV% and 4.13 GAA in 18 U18 Prep games with the Warriors.
