ICYMI: Green, Harvey & Salisbury Sign in WHL

Current CSSHL student-athletes Mazen Green and Hayden Harvey, along with former CSSHL student-athlete Nathan Salisbury, have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective teams.

A forward from Victoria, BC, Green has signed with the Kamloops Blazers after they selected him in the second round, 45th overall at the 2026 WHL Draft. Green joined the CSSHL for the 2024/25 U15 Prep season with Pacific Coast Hockey Academy, tallying 29 points in 36 games while being named to the CSSHL (BC/US Division) All Rookie Team. This past season with Delta Hockey Academy Green recorded 46 points in 30 games.

Harvey has signed with the Saskatoon Blades after they drafted him in the second round, 32nd overall at the 2026 WHL Draft. The Edmonton, AB defenseman posted 22 points in 36 U15 Prep games with the Northern Alberta Xtreme during the 2024/25 CSSHL season as he was named to the CSSHL (Prairie Division) All Rookie Team. This past year he recorded 40 points in 29 U15 Prep games with OHA Edmonton, earning CSSHL (Prairie Division) Second Team All-Star honours.

Originally undrafted to the WHL, Nathan Salisbury has signed with the Red Deer Rebels. The Edmonton, AB netminder spent the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons with OHA Edmonton, playing for their U15 and U15 Prep teams. This past season he played for the Bonnyville Pontiacs in the AJHL, posting a 17-14-1 record with a 3.21 GAA and .902 SV%.
