A pair of Yale Hockey Academy student-athletes have signed WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements with their respective clubs.
After leading the CSSHL U15 Prep division with 43 goals, 55 assists and 98 points this past season, Teagan Dernisky has signed with the Saskatoon Blades, who took him 15th overall at the 2026 WHL Draft. The Delta, BC forward was a CSSHL U15 Prep (BC/US Division) Fist Team All-Star in his second U15 Prep season with Yale. Last season Dernisky tallied 14 points in 24 U15 Prep games.
A defenseman from Cloverdale, BC, Tyson Wolanski has signed with the Regina Pats. The Pats selected him in the second round, 31st overall at the 2026 WHL Draft after he tallied 47 points in 29 games, earning CSSHL U15 Prep (BC/US Division) Fist Team All-Star honours and being named a finalist for the U15 Prep Top Defenseman Award. Last season Wolanski was named to the CSSHL U15 Prep (BC/US Division) All Rookie Team, recording 7 points in 34 games.
